Deploy Content is a CV ecommerce multisite feature. It can also be used with Content Lock to send content that is locked from editing and deletion on target sites. 



Suppose you're on a source site that deployed locked content to one or more target sites. You now want CMS users on those sitesv sites to be able to edit or delete that  locked item? .


The system remembers deployment of locked items to specific target sites. Deploy Unlocked Status lets you send an 'unlock' status to a locked content item previously deployed from your site. Once unlocked on the target site, its CMS users will have access to it as per can edit the item if their usual role permissions for this content type allow it.

Process

When selecting the data item during a deployment, make sure the unlocked item icon displays against the item.for it. This tells you the 'unlocked' status will be sent. 


Check Content Deployment Log

You can always check that the unlock status was what was deployed from the Content Deployment Log to make sure it was the 'unlocked' status you just deployed. The unlocked icon is will be displayed against next to the item deployed.
