New Widgets

  • Page:
    Single Sign-on Registration Fields Widget — Renders the Registration / Link User fields (depending on configuration) on the Login page after a user signs in with a social network.
  • Page:
    Postcode Entry Popup Widget — Displays a modal window to allow the user to set the postcode for their order. This launches automatically on the user's first navigation to the cart, or can be accessed later via a link in the site header.

    Order Confirmation Promotional Code Widget — Displays a message to the user regarding newly created promotion codes, for use in conjunction with Monthly Promotion Code types.

    Third Party Delivery Widget — Replaces the Freight Options widget during checkout, where Third Party Delivery has been enabled for a role or customer. The widget displays notifications and delivery charge information.

    Order Documents Widget — Enables users to upload documents to their order via the Cart or Checkout page. The documents are stored on the server and can be accessed via a link on an email template (such as the Order Placed email).

    Country Select Widget — Renders a modal window in which users can select their country, enabling the display of region-specific information ($USD, for example).

    Maintainable GST prompt wording — The 'Including GST' prompt can now be customised in both the Cart and Order Confirmation page. This may be useful for clarification purposes when the GST component is displayed below the order total line. For example, the prompt could be updated from 'Including GST' to 'Includes GST of'.

    Price Book Exports - multiple PDF templates — The Price Book Export wizard has been enhanced to support multiple PDF export templates.

    Order Shipped email - New option to display Shipped instead of Ordered values — A new option is available for Order Shipped emails, which allows for Shipped Quantity and Shipped Amount to be displayed instead of Ordered Quantity and Ordered Amount. The flag is located in the 'Email Order Summary' widget of the Order Shipped template, and is labelled 'Used for Order Shipped Email'.

    Order History widget includes Approval details — The Order History widget has been enhanced to display order Approval status and history details.

    New Breadcrumb widget option — A new Breadcrumb widget option has been added to specify whether the product description/title should be displayed in the breadcrumb. This is useful for reducing very long breadcrumbs on mobile screens.

    Menu Items can now contain Documents — Document file names can now be added to the menu item page name. These will open in a new window.

    Guest Checkout functionality — Guest Checkout functionality is now available, whereby B2C users can checkout with logging in or registering for an account.

    Geocoding to Determine Country — There is now the ability for the user to set their Country, with the default being determined by a Geolocation service based on the user's IP address.

    Favourites button Role flag — A new Role flag has been added (UseAddToFavourites) which determines whether the 'Add to Favourites' button shows or is hidden.

    Fast Order Entry widget - Product Description — Support for a Product Description column has been added to the Fast Order Entry widget. The value for the description is taken from the selected item in the search drop down. The description field is read-only.

    Quick order form — A new Quick Order widget has been added to BPD to allow a customisable quick order entry pane to be placed on any page.

    Fast Order / Quick Add widget — A new widget has been added to allow a customisable Fast Order Entry pane to be placed on any page.

    eWay Multi-Currency Support — Support for multi-currency transactions through eWay has been introduced (previously only available via DPS and PayPal).

    Description column for Quick Order widget — We have added support for a Description column in the Quick Order widget. The value for the description field is taken from the selected item in the search drop down.

    Click and Collect enhancements —
    • Click and Collect functionality now allows for product availability statuses which would previously prevent an order from being checked out, to be controlled at the system level in regards to checkout ability.
    • The 'Order Shipped' email can now use the 'Pickup Ready' email template as needed, without relying on the sales order matching a required status. This allows for it to work in scenarios where the same ERP status could be used for both pickup and delivery orders.

    Selecting UOM when adding to cart — We have added the ability to select either the default or alternate Unit Of Measure (UOM) when adding items to the cart. A role-base flag has been added to enable this feature.

    Standard Freight - Submit as Quote — In Standard Freight, it is now possible to configure Carriers / Zones so that if the total order weight or volume, or individual item length exceeds specified limits, instead of that Carrier not being made available as a freight option, it can be still be selected but the order submitted as a quote. In such a case, if selected, the only payment option that is then possible at checkout is to submit the order for a quote (i.e. no payment is taken).

    Subcategory List widget — A new widget has been created to display a list of subcategories for a given category. See our document for an example - Sub Category List Widget!

    Category maintenance for images — Images for online category maintenance are now handled by the Category List Image widget.

Fixes

    Custom Catalogue sort order for Categories — An update to the Custom Catalogue menu has been made, allowing the categories to display according to the sort order defined online.

    Product Price Override Promotion subtotal display — The display token has been updated for the discount amount in the Product Price Override promotion. It was previously displaying the incorrect subtotal in some scenarios.

    Product Price Override Promotion subtotal display - Order confirmation page and Email — The display token has been updated for the discount amount in the Product Price Override promotion. It was previously displaying the incorrect subtotal on the Order Confirmation page and email.

    Promotional Discount display update — In some instances, the promotional discount display was not updating when an order was edited (e.g product quantity update). This has been fixed.

    Product SEO Route and Breadcrumb now use Product Title — SEO Routes and Breadcrumbs for product pages now automatically use the Product Title (where it has been populated).

    Out of Stock product deletion — In some scenarios, the Stock Availability Notification popup was deleting the unavailable item from the cart, even when the user cancelled or closed the modal window. This has been fixed.

    PayPal Express Add to Cart quantity — An issue existed where the PayPal Express checkout button was only adding the default quantity of 1 to the cart, rather than the quantity input by the user. This has been fixed.

    CSV download error — Outstanding Invoice Summary and Outstanding Invoice Reprint were unable to be downloaded as .csv files in some instances. This has been fixed.

    Product Category SEO URL - subcategories — Subcategories were missing from the SEO URL upon first integration of Product Categories. This has been fixed.

    Third party payments — Third party payment processing ('PX Pay') has been enabled for BPD, wherein the user is redirected to the Payment Express credit card details page to input their details, rather than during normal checkout.

    Order History for Currently Selected Customer — A change has been made to re-enable viewing the order history for the currently selected Customer only. The 'Force Current Customer' flag has been added to the 'Track Orders' widget.

    Email address 'from' field obeyed by Contact Us widget — The email address 'From' field is now obeyed by the Contact Us widget, so that enquiry responses can go directly back to the user via the standard email 'Reply' function.

    Contact Us - IE9 button display — The Contact Us widget has been updated to include a fix for IE9, where the form's 'Send' button was inactive.

    Contact Name for Guest Checkout with PayPal — PayPal was not receiving the user's contact name when accessed via Guest Checkout. This has been resolved.

    iOS My Preferences — The drop-down lists in the 'My Preferences' widget did not display values on iOS devices. This has been corrected.

    Discount Pricing for Kits with no Header — The system flag 'Allow Final Discount To Be Applied To Kits With No Kit Header', now correctly determines whether discounts will be applied if the product is a Kit with no kit header (i.e. final kit price - before discount - is dependent on the combined component price).

    User Admin Blank Search — A change has been made to allow end user Administrators to execute a blank user search. All results will be returned.

    Product Attributes containing spaces — Product variants (attributes) containing blank spaces were resulting in a Javascript error, preventing the correct display of the attribute value. This has been fixed.

    PayPal Express Order Reference — PayPal Express orders will now have the Order Reference field set to 'PAYPALEXPR 9999' (where 9999 is the receipt number).

    Title Zone for widget-based Static Layouts — Widget-based static content layouts now have a full-width Title zone available, consistent with their simple mode counterparts.

    Lucene Index Fields - Duplicate entries — The Index Fields tab of the Lucene Maintenance page has been updated to check for duplications when adding a new field name.

    Banner Sort Order — Banners are now sorted according to the order that they are displayed in the 'Banner Maintenance' screen in the CMS.

    Cash Receipts for Authorise Only mode — An issue existed for some sites using the Authorise Only credit card payment method, in which cash receipt details were incorrect. The issue has been fixed.

    Products in cart after PayPal Express checkout — Where users checked out with PayPal Express, occasionally their products remained in the cart. This has been corrected.

    Back button in browser navigates incorrectly through paging — There was an error where the browser's 'Back' button navigated incorrectly where paging was used. This has been fixed.
