Content Lock is part of Commerce Vision's Franchise and Multisite website features. 

Requires 4.38+.


Overview

For multisite control, Administrator roles on a deploying site can lock banners and articles or individual objects within them, i.e., zones, layout and widgets, then deploy the locked content to selected destination sites. CMS users of the destination sites cannot add, edit or delete content.  


When locking is enabled, Locked/Unlocked toggles appear against lockable objects. Locked toggles are automatically displayed against locked objects. Unlocked toggles display only on hover.

Deploy a Banner or Article Object

  1.  On the page of the content object you want to deploy, e.g., Article Type, Article,, Banner, click Deploy.

  2. Select the objects to be deployed.



  3. Click Next.

  4. Select valid site(s) to deploy the article or banner objects to.


  5. Click Next.

  6. Review the deployment details, then click Deploy.


  7. Check whether deployment was successful.
